Testing has shown a 20% increase in torque & horsepower at 5000RPM compared to the old 38HV on a KTM250 This is what riders refer to as bottom end, it is the meat of the powerband for off road riding & creates faster acceleration out of corners for all disciplines. 

Lectrons are a great choice for riders seeking performance, fuel economy, simplicity & smoother power deliver.

The taper bore squeezes the air to increase speed & create fuel lift behind the flat metering rod.
Lectrons provide superior throttle response & power delivery by utilizing the patented metering rod.
 
The adjustment tool is highly recommended in case you have to do any fine tuning, using pliers to make adjustments can scratch the metering rod & alter the fuel delivery characteristics.
Depending on some setups your air boot may rub on your shock spring, This is not an issue as the spring doesn't move enough to cause wear. 
 
We do not recommend running a reed spacer, They may cause fitment issues, & the longer body of the Lectron compensates for the longer intake tract.
